Jingduan Yang, MD, is the founder of the American Institute for Clinical Acupuncture and co-author of the textbook Clinical Acupuncture and Ancient Chinese Medicine.

 

Dr. Yang is a board-certified psychiatrist, integrative medicine expert, and fifth-generation teacher and practitioner of classical Chinese medicine specializing in acupuncture. 

​

Dr. Yang trained in neurology and psychiatry at the prestigious Fourth Military Medical University in Xian, China, and the WHO Collaborative Mental Health Center in Shanghai. He completed a research fellowship in clinical psychopharmacology at Oxford University, residency training in psychiatry at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, and a Bravewell Fellowship in integrative medicine at the University of Arizona. Dr. Yang is a faculty member at the University of Arizona’s Center for Integrative Medicine.
